Olin Corporation is Hiring an Administrative specialist Near Mc Intosh, AL

Join our winning team as an Administrative Specialist in Human Resources at our McIntosh, Alabama plant. In this role you provide administrative support to the Human Resources team including support for payroll, talent acquisition, new employee onboarding and employee / labor relations.

HR Administrative Specialist Essential Job Functions :

  • Coordinate and assist with local administration of talent acquisition activities
  • Process payroll using Kronos timekeeping system
  • Coordinate and assist with new hire onboarding and orientation processes
  • Pull HR related reports, submit forms and other HR related activities
  • Assist in the management of leave cases
  • Maintain confidential records and files

HR Administrative Specialist Minimum Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s degree* in business discipline preferred
  • 3 years administrative support experience; prior Human Resources administrative experience strongly preferred
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint); working knowledge of PeopleSoft and Kronos preferred
  • Prior Applicant Tracking Software experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • Previous Olin experience preferred
  • Degree must be from a school that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education of the Department of Education or equivalent program from an international university.
